ABOUT SUSANNAH

Susannah Hyde is a self-starter with 4+ years of experience and a proven track record of transforming creative ideas into tangible experiences. After graduating from Yale University, Susannah has been working as a freelance designer in New York City. She has worked most frequently as a theatrical set designer, but also has experience in project management, event design and coordination, video editing, and projection design.

Recently, she served as an Assistant Scenic Designer to Rachel Hauck on her Tony-Award-winning design for Hadestown on Broadway and as the Head of the Scene Design Department at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Her work has been produced at theaters such as The Tank, HERE Arts Center, and Astoria Performing Arts Center in NYC and the Williamstown Theatre Festival (Fellowship Program) and Hattiloo Theatre regionally. Additionally, Susannah has assisted Broadway designers such as Dane Laffrey, Mark Wendland, and Alexander Woodward.
